Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files stored on your device; similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixels/scripts that read device information. This policy covers two distinct contexts:

• relayys.com — cookies we set on our own website, where we are the controller.
• Customer websites running the Relayys pixel— first-party identifiers set on our customers' sites, where the customer is the controller and their cookie notice governs.

We keep our own site lean. Cookies used here are:

• Strictly necessary — authentication (Clerk): session cookies that keep you signed in to the dashboard and protect against cross-site request forgery. Lifetime: session to a few days. These cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in.
• Strictly necessary — payment/checkout: when you proceed to checkout, our merchant of record Dodo Payments sets cookies on its checkout pages for fraud prevention and session integrity, under its own policy.
• Preferences: a cookie or localStorage entry remembering settings such as theme. Lifetime: up to 12 months.

We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on relayys.com. Because we only use strictly necessary and preference storage, we do not currently show a consent banner; if we ever add non-essential cookies, we will ask for consent first where the law requires it.

When a Relayys customer installs our pixel on their site, the pixel may set a first-party identifier(cookie or localStorage) scoped to that customer's domain. It is used to:

• remember the advertising click ID (e.g. gclid, fbclid) that brought the visitor, so a later conversion can be attributed to the right click;
• distinguish returning visitors from bots as part of fraud scoring.

This identifier is first-party (scoped to the site you visited), is not used to track you across unrelated websites, and typically lasts up to 90 days. The website operator — our customer — is responsible for disclosing it in their cookie notice and, where required (e.g. under EU/UK ePrivacy rules), obtaining your consent before it is set. If you have questions about tracking on a specific website, contact that website's operator.

You can control cookies in several ways:

• browser settings let you block or delete cookies per site (note: blocking strictly necessary cookies will break dashboard sign-in);
• your browser's private/incognito mode discards cookies when the window closes;
• on customer sites, use the site's own cookie banner or preference center to refuse non-essential storage;
• Global Privacy Control (GPC) and similar signals: where the law gives them effect, customers can configure Relayys to honor them for End User data.
